Do you have any idea how much I had to hear about football and while growing up in Chapel Hill? Let me tell you, it was a daily routine. Now, this would have been all fine and good, but the truth is I am simply not a fan. Not a fan of north carolina tar heels football and basketball, and not really a fan of any other teams. No offense to all of you out there who are. I can somewhat see the appeal. People love to have some kind of exciting event they can follow and cheer for. Apparently it's in our genetic code. So, what is your team?
As a teenager, I was exposed to north carolina tar heels football and each and everyday. Much of this has to do with my best friend. He was a Tar heel fanatic. It's odd that I don't care for sports after knowing him my entire life. You'd think it would have rubbed off on me at some point. Who knows why it didn't. I preferred martial arts. I have always found it more beneficial. While my buddy watched north carolina tar heels football games, I trained in Karate and Wing Chun. Basically he got fat and I got muscular and in good shape.
