Things To Do Once Your Mortgage Is Paid Off Once your mortgage is paid off it's time to celebrate! Some people really do throw a party to celebrate paying off their mortgage. It's been such a long haul but they finally did it, and now they really own their own home.
It's easy to start spending money once you no longer have to meet those repayments every month, and that's okay. Go out and have a little fun because you've earned it. But after a month or two, think about your future goals. You managed to do without that amount of money for all these years, so why not keep on doing it?
