4 Cool But Not So Useful Twitter Tools

My previous blog addressed 10 Cool tools that can really help you. The tools I mention below are mainly used for fun and idle times. Check them out and let me know what you think.
1) Twistori – Twistori is pretty cool. Click on the link and it brings you to a page with 6 words on the left hand side: Love, Hate, Think, Believe, Feel, and Wish. When you click on one of these options, the page will show all live tweets as they happen with these keywords in them.

2) Twittermap – Twittermap shows where your friends are. Type in a account name and you can see where there account is and their last tweet.

3) Twittersheep - Cool, but pretty pointless. You insert your account name and it gets keywords from your page, followers, and profile and tries to make some sort of coherent sentence. Kind of like a madlib.

4) Twitterholic – This list shows the rankings of all twitterers. It’s doubtful
you’ll ever make it on top of this list, but it’s cool to find out where you are compared to everyone else.

The powers that be behind have been able to market themselves through many of these cool applications and tools, basically for free. By releasing their API in the foundational stages of the site, it allowed outside parties to make tools to help themselves and the community. didn’t have to spend any time being creative and inventive regarding really cool tools and applications; they had their own users do it for them. There are new tool and applications for that I hear about every day. What are your favorites? Which ones don’t you like so much, what would you like to see? Comment below and let’s discuss.
