How To Bypass Any Firewall
By steven
Many companies and schools often block and restrict access to specific websites like myspace, friendster, and similar. They don’t want you to surf these websites during your stay there. But now there is a solution to unblock sites like myspace and co. with a simple trick: using web proxies or proxy lists.
Web proxies can be accessed via the internet for free. There are many free web-based proxies which can be used to bypass your school firewall. But what if you don’t even have access to these websites?! Well, there is an alternative way to bypass your firewall: make use http proxies.
You can configure your browser to use a custom http or socks proxy. This works with almost any browser, e.g. Mozilla, Firefox, Internet Explorer. Using a proxy to access websites like youtube oder myspace also protects your privacy which is very important these days. This way nobody will be able to track down your real IP or location. But you need daily updated, fresh lists of http proxies, because older proxies
often become inactive and useless. There are only a few sites that provide a daily or hourly updated anonymous proxy list. You can use any working http or socks proxy from these lists and change the settings in your browser to surf anonymously. It’s pretty easy and very secure.
Remember: the more often you change your proxy server the higher your level of anonymity is. You may want to check the proxy list sites often to get new, fresh proxies which you can use. The anonymous proxy lists tell you the ip, port and category of the proxy server.
