Returning Us Troops Speak Out Against War In Iraq!
AUSTIN, TX (ContentDesk) July 2, 2004 -- Recently returned from Iraq, these service members want the world to know that the best way to support our troops is to bring them home safely…..NOW. Backed by veterans, military families, and citizens from across the state, they will detail how our brave military have been betrayed and lied to by their Commander Chief. Cpl. Hoffman states: "As I talk to groups around the country, the reactions to my stories about have been incredible. People are sick of the whitewashed story about they get on TV". Our brave service men and women have done what was asked of them, is liberated. Saddam Hussein is in jail, and though they searched thoroughly, there were no WMD to be found. Now is the time to bring them home. One of the greatest injustices perpetrated by our President was sending America's sons and daughters into harm's way when other viable diplomatic options were available. His reckless decisions and pre-meditated rush to war have been the cause-to date-of (855) American troops killed, at least (5,138) troops wounded including disfiguring injuries, multiple amputations and severe brain damage; lives and families shattered; uncounted Iraqis dead and injured; and irreparable harm done to America's reputation by abusing captives in our care. The troops know their brothers and sisters in uniform are being targeted because
of a reckless policy of pre-emption and a lack of planning with no viable exit strategy.Come hear from men who risked their lives for lies and a mission that was misrepresented to them Learn from them about incompetent leadership and low morale as the truth about this war has come out.
