Teach English In Korea By Sarah Fauset IS THIS YOUR FIRST TIME TEACHING IN KOREA? THEN YOU MUST START HERE!!!!!!!!
Imagine paying off your student loans? Traveling and getting paid for it! It almost sounds too good to be true but it’s not! I have taught ESL in for three years and it has been the best experience of my life! One of the reasons I started was because I was a university graduate with no job prospects and accumulating student loans. I also wanted to get away and go on an adventure!
There are many things you need to know before you go to but don’t worry because we can help! We can help ease the stress and inform you as well as help you along with the process. It can be quite confusing going to without having someone to assist you especially without someone who speaks English well. When I first got a job in Korea, I didn’t go with a recruiter. I just got a job off the internet with a school. However, I didn’t get the right information on how to do the visa process properly. I was confused and had to go the Embassy three times because the employer keep forgetting to tell me about the documents I needed. There was no clear communication between the employer and I. I arrived at the airport not knowing where to go and what to do. There was no one there to help me! I felt like I was not properly informed before I left!
This is why I want to help teachers so they can be organized and this will not happen when they go to Korea! I want to make the transition on going to a smooth process. We will answer all the questions you have about teaching overseas in Korea. Going overseas for the first can be a really stressful experience. We will also help you find the best job position for you so you will not get taken advantage of by employers. We know the different between a good contract and a bad contract. We know all the rights teachers are entitled to that an employer might tell you are not. Any employers will try to talk you into a position without knowing if it is a good position for you! There are many jobs in but if you don’t know anything about the employers then you could get stuck with a bad contract.
I am able to answer any questions you have. I know which schools are
good and bad and what to look out for when you go! Since teaching ESL in Korea, I have connected to the best schools that offer great contracts! I only suggest contracts that are good! I do a filtering process so you will never end up with a bad contact. There are many things you need to know. Just because a school pays a higher salary does not mean that it is a good school because often those schools go out of business and I have seen this happen many times. Then you will be stuck in without a job and a return flight. Also you don’t want to get hooked up with a school that doesn’t pay your money on time. I have known some teachers who got their monthly payment every 3 months. Their employers were not paying them on time and there was nothing they could do! Also some schools operate illegally and if you are caught working for an illegal school, then you can pay a huge fine or get deported from the country. Often small schools go out of business. Also some schools fire their teachers just before the end of the contract so they don’t have to pay your airfare and bonus! There are many kinds of situation you need to avoid! I can help you avoid situations like this!
I have connections to schools that are stable that won’t go out of business and pay on time. They are 100% legal operating institutes. They are honest and offer great contracts. They pay your airfare upfront so you don’t take on any expenses from that whereas many schools say they will reimburse for the flight but the money never actually covers the cost of the flight. I have positions open all over so I can find the position that you want where you want it! I want to make your experience in the best! Starting off on the right steps is the first time! If you are a university graduate or it is your first time teaching in Korea, I will help make your experience in fantastic!
